 | This exhibition surveys a multitude of norms and “ab”-norms present both in the experience of day-to-day living and the broader spectrum of monumental events and protocol. The presence of irony throughout the pieces chosen for the exhibition suggests that in the present time of our awareness, we tend to utilize the reality of the negative and questionable to formulate and prepare for transformation ending in hope for personal and global fulfillment. One can appreciate the mystery of the symbolic gesture to find a whole array of human distraction. Some of the works represent the personification of emotion, represented in pattern and volume of energy abstracted and released. The work in this exhibition culminates in the process of self-examination, at the very least, manifesting as a thread of direction in a diverse setting.

 | A cacophony of images translates into many avenues of the senses in his digital collages. A combination of spiritual and political awareness heightens the aesthetics to produce images of contemporary worship and sources of satirical de-valuation. Each piece acts as a "house" of experience, tending towards categorization of certain elements of the dream state. They are theatrical sets for the emancipation of our sub-conscious fears and misconstrued experiences. They are narrations, and one can easily imagine these works as parts of an entire novel in visual terms.

 | Welcome to Caladan's Members' Gallery. There is a mutual attraction between the Gallery and the artists that come to us with their extraordinary and unusual work. We maintain the artistic integrity of the expression of reality, both individual and collective, through visual truth. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to do this on a continuous basis through the artists that share our uncommon direction. Here you will find their portfolios.

| CALADAN GALLERY presents visual art in the spirit of the maintenance of artistic integrity in the virtual community. We provide artists of all periods of development the opportunity to form an artistic society in which their visual expression is a vehicle for dialogue and communion in chaotic and confusing global environment. We have monthly juried group exhibitions which focus on subjects of depth, timeliness, and interpretive expansiveness. We also offer opportunities for artists to become juried members, displaying a good amount of their individual artwork. The act of exhibiting on the CALADAN site affords artists great exposure in the virtual, global community. It is also an opportunity to be part of a growing and thriving international art universe.
