Mission Statement

The mission of Caladan Gallery is to provide a voice for artists working in a diverse system of mediums and genres. Caladan Gallery specializes in showcasing the work of artists who reach beyond the boundaries of the mainstream, focusing on different branches of Contemporary art. These can include, but are not limited to: Installations, Conceptual art, Visionary, Esoteric, and Spiritually inclined art, and the Art of Just Causes.

Our mission is also to provide a ground for interaction between artists and art viewers, making contact between the two a priority in the Site.

The gallery operates on a similar form as a traditional “mortar and brick” gallery, holding monthly juried group exhibitions as well as solo exhibitions and invitationals. We also offer individual artist memberships, where the artist has the opportunity to add images at any time, and make their work accessible to the International Art Community. Also, Caladan Gallery will be offering individual artists’ website design services. This can be done by the artists themselves, or handled by the Caladan Gallery staff.

The internet, being in its infancey, has spawned the seed of creativity and experimentation possible in the evolution of art. It is a gift to be able to utilize cyberspace for further revelation and direction of our visions as artists. We have created Caladan Gallery with this everchanging pathway in mind.
