The textures and colors of the positive and negative space in nature are manifest largely by the quality of light and air passing through it at any given moment. This exhibition describes the manner of eloquence present in the relationship between the earth and the light and air that surrounds and envelops it. Some pieces, by virtue of their more traditional slant, provide differentiation and contrast to the more diverging elements. This provides a survey, a timepiece from which to explore the landscape. There is an interconnectedness present between the land and air as ancient as the earth itself. This dialogue is ephemeral, an observation of the moment, captured by our collective vision.

CALADAN GALLERY presents visual art in the spirit of the maintenance of artistic integrity in the virtual community. We provide artists of all periods of development the opportunity to form an artistic society in which their visual expression is a vehicle for dialogue and communion in chaotic and confusing global environment. We have monthly juried group exhibitions which focus on subjects of depth, timeliness, and interpretive expansiveness. We also offer opportunities for artists to become juried members, displaying a good amount of their individual artwork. The act of exhibiting on the CALADAN site affords artists great exposure in the virtual, global community. It is also an opportunity to be part of a growing and thriving international art universe.
