It is within the form that color finds its existence. Far from being a solely metaphysical occurrence, these forms are quite varied on all levels. From the reflection of our environment to emotional impact, to color for its own sake, our understanding of the nature of color and its application comes to the surface in this exhibition.
It is true that due to technology, the available spectrum has been enhanced through the presence of brighter light and new mediums. Many artists in this exhibition have elected to embark on new explorations of color. There are instances in which environment is altered almost to the point in which one feels there is another source of light present. These points do not get lost on the viewer!
