These paintings by Liz Pozen are probably the most readily identifiable pieces in the exhibition in relation to the concept of "returning home". Here is the artist, obviously adoring her relatives, placing them with utmost honor on the pedestal in her personal spirit. A modern day ancestral memory collection, these pieces are also incredibly well painted, with highlights, color value and contrast that do not let us as viewers escape the foundations of our common experiences.
