"These 2 pieces were created after the tragedy in NYC, 9-11:
"Running": Depicts how it must feel running from falling debris, fire and the horror of what one might possibility take in during such panic. I remember laying down the torn pieces of paper, it seemed so random as I think back, working in the ink, making it darker and darker, adding just a small amount of copper foil and I was done. Somehow it did convey how I felt, what happened to all those people, individuals, the darkness and fear.
"The Dancer": Number 2 of a series of three I worked on that day. All I felt were the souls moving up and away, to their final destiny. No longer afraid but, bare bones, all the struggle of life and death being left behind. A Symbolic individual dancing back to their primitive, simple beginning. This work gave me some peace."
