"The current show theme of "returning home" hit a timely and responsive cord. My hectic life being what it is, I've not gotten back to my Connecticut family home as much as I should and for that there's no excuse. However, over the course of the past year I had the privilege of returning there, often on weekends, to assist in the care of my aging father and those events were peaceful and productive. More than a few times our sitting on the back porch was rewarded by the sight of a majestic red tailed hawk circling over the nearby forest...my watercolor landscapes symbolize the archetypal family home that all of us need to get back to more often than not in any season."
