The artists at Collaborative Art seem to inject humor into everything they accomplish. Even the photograph by Laura Wilhelm has a light buoyancy to it, along with supreme motion and the sense of breath, and being alive. Elaine Stanley and George Fontaine both present their pieces with a kind of blunt optimism. There is a sense of "here it is", of the pieces being lowered into place and left as a kind of graffiti into the portal of the moment. More than mildly honest, all 3 of these artists and the consequent pieces bear a direct path into the continuity present within the self, and its relationships.
