There are many combinations of images possible in the technological realm provided by recent advances in computer programs utilized for artistic purposes. Jim Colando has chosen one of these combinations in which he has brought together seemingly random images, textures, and colors to induce a highly personal, yet imaginatively provocative set of images. He creates environments, unearthly, in the material realm, yet quite etherial in nature. His work is the mirror of his mind, and the mirror of psycho-spiritual individuation becomes manifest as a habitat for the viewers' set of personal discoveries.
