NATURAL FACETED GARNET SILVER CENTERING RING

Description : This size 7 ˝ ring features a faceted cone cut natural Pyrope garnet. It is entirely designed and hand-forged by me in a process that takes about four hours.

This stone is a deep maroon, almost black except in stronger light. Its circular design and graceful swirls draw the eye irresistibly into to the center of the piece.

I’ve had the idea for this ring for a very long time. When I was a little girl about ten years old, I once took my birthstone ring, a gift from my parents, and removed the traditionally cut stone, then reset it upside down! You can imagine that my parents were not too pleased…

I must have been ahead of my time because now stones actually are cut that way on purpose. They’re called “fancy cuts.” I’ve always liked stones better on their “undersides” and now everyone else seems to as well.

I believe this would be a good piece for someone with a gift of healing, or perhaps someone who might use it as a focus tool. This piece has been sold, but I am always willing to create something similar.
