This is a one-of-a kind hand-sculpted piece in solid pure silver with sterling and bead accents and dichroic glass eyes on a sterling chain.
Yes, you read correctly. This is an original sculpture. It isn’t made from a mold. It was hand-formed out of precious metal clay in my studio, and it’s one-of-a-kind. It has been deliberately oxidized to bring out the fine detail of the work.
When I bought the “eyes” from a local glass artist I knew right away what I was going to make with them. Some people might have made a nice normal pair of earrings. Me? I made her. Dare to be different.
“Dragon Grrl” speaks to the wild child in all of us. This piece has been sold, but I am always open to creating new works of art. |
